Carton Production Line

The carton and cardboard industry is one of the essential pillars in the supply chain of goods, transportation, storage, and marketing of products in today’s world. This industry has become one of the fastest growing areas in the packaging industry, due to the significant growth of e-commerce, the development of the food, pharmaceutical, and electronics industries.

Carton Production Line

From simple cartons for internal packaging to printed multi-layer boxes for professional branding, all of these require precise, fast, and flexible machinery that is capable of high-quality mass production.

Industrial applications of cardboard and paperboard

The products produced in these lines are used in the following industries:

Food industry:
    • Packaging of dried fruits, fruits, meat, dairy products
Electronics and home appliances:
    • Safe transportation of televisions, refrigerators, audio devices
Pharmaceutical and health:
    • Packaging of medicine, cosmetics, medical equipment
E-commerce:
    • Printed boxes with branding, mailing boxes
Agriculture:
    • Moisture-proof boxes for exporting fruits and vegetables

General process of cardboard production

The cardboard production process briefly includes the following steps:

  1. Production of corrugated cardboard sheet (Corrugated Board):
    • Combining smooth layers (Liner) and middle corrugated layer (Fluting) with starch adhesive.
    • Production lines can include single-layer, three-layer, five-layer and even seven-layer, each of which is used for specific industrial applications.
  1. Sheetfed Printing (Flexo or Ink Printer):
    • Multi-color machines with modern anilox systems, automatic ink distribution, digital phase adjustment and PLC control for precise printing of logos, product information, barcodes and graphic designs.
  1. Cutting and die-cutting:
    • Rotary or flat dies with automatic adjustment, precise molding and maintaining uniformity in high print runs.
    • Use of replaceable cutting tires to increase the useful life of the machine and save costs.
  1. Stapling and gluing:
    • Semi-automatic or fully automatic machines such as the BDJ Double Servo Stitcher, for high-speed box stitching, digital thickness adjustment and fast order changeover.
